I'm not sure whether you still remember me..Kadut/Firdaus. Just terpanggil untuk menjawab bila tengok ada Q's on medicine, but the case you tanya tu actually is more about on orthopaedics (bahagian tulang). I'm not an orthopaedics but more of a physician/ speacialist in internal medicine (jantung/peparu/ginjal/gastrousus/endokrine/rheuma..)

Masalah kawan hang tu dinamakan coccygodynia (sebut 'kokkigodainia') that is sakit kat end of your spine- your tailbone. It's not a common disease, so even most doctors may not even heard of it. Kawan hang tu rasanya pompuan kot, mungkin kurus.. sebab kaum hawa selalu kena (5X compared to adam), pasai pompuan tempat coccyx (tailbone) tu memang more prominent and exposed dari lelaki. Sebabtu telioq kami tengok....ops puasa!! Sorry..

Penyebab penyakit ni.. ada 3 kemungkinan... PERTAMA: Previous direct injury (kena sepak ke, jatuh terduduk ke, jatuh trampolone ke..). KEDUA: effect semasa pregnant esp third trimester & child birth- otot & tulang rawan mengembang kecup. KETIGA: kekadang disebabkan pilonidal cyst/ sinus (macam jerawat besar kat tepi cleft bontot tu).

Rawatannya macam-macam
1. Regular pain killer (pastikan dapat nasihat doctor bertauliah.. jgn jadi macam kes 'prof homeopathy' yg chong org tu..
2. Use gel cushion or donut-shaped pillow when sitted.
3. Physiotherapy
4. Klau teruk sangat apa lagi...steroid injection,...again seek proper doctor
5. Accupunture is also a good option especially for this case- reflex therapy accupunture wt cyroanalgesic probe.... make sure jgn pi kat bomoh mana.. kata kena 'doggy' dulu baru sembuh..

p/s: Tadi baru pi Shaklee kat Glenmarie- I tak active pun, cume wife pi beli enfusel- kata sesuai untuk dia. I tanya nama you- depa kata u kat atas. So I tak mau kacau la.
